WB 1-7🍊: OHANA FAIR MADE MY DAYYY
Summary
Highlights + Lowlights
Highlights
- Ohana Fair - This week was getting on my nerves, but Ohana Fair saved it. I had fun running around campus with my friends, basically reeking havoc on anyone we knew lol. We bought lots of food, random things, and most importantly.. just chill anywhere we felt like relaxing at.
- Art Class (despite my classmates being rowdy) - Even though I hate my classmates in art (I don't actually hate them, they're just annoying) , I love the assignments. Why? Because 1. They're easy to do 2. They're satisfying to do. Getting to finish an art project and seeing how amazing, clean, and stunning the art is makes me happy.
- Being With My Period 3 Members <3 - Okay, I don't really admit this a lot, but I like hanging out with my period 3 Members. I do argue with some of them sometimes (a lot), that doesn't change the fact that we are in a group together, and treat each other as such. One big happy family, that's just how it goes.
Lowlights
- My Gums Hating Me - For some reason, my gums around my bottom right molar started to hurt and pissed me off way to much than it should. Why? Oh, I don't know, maybe because I couldn't do ANYTHING that involved making my jaw even the slightest bit? I couldn't eat, speak, swallow, stretch my jaw, nothing. Please send help.
- My Sickness Hating Me - What is wrong with my body and attacking me? I've been sick for almost THREE WEEKS now. This needs to stop. I keep coughing, my throat is choking itself, my stomach is doing back flips, and my eyes feel like the sun has given them the biggest kiss in the galactic universe.
- Me Hating My Science Class (yes again) - I will never let my science class live down. I don't hate the lesson, not at all. I hate, hate hate hate hate hate my classmates (except for a handful of them) for being so loud and obnoxious. I can't have one period in silence with those.. atrocities in the same room with each other.
Lessons Learned
Science Class: I've proven that I can achieve a good grade even when my classmates are being loud and disruptive. The key lesson here is that I can succeed regardless of my surroundings by focusing on my own work.
Art Class: Even though the noise from my classmates can be annoying, I find joy in the creative process and the final outcome of my projects. This shows I've learned to find satisfaction in my own work, which helps me overcome the distractions around me.
Sickness: I've been sick for two weeks, and I now understand that my body needs time to heal. This is a clear reminder that I need to prioritize my health and be patient with my recovery. And hey, maybe avoid raw eggs next time!
Math Test: This experience was a major learning moment. I realized that looking at my phone during a test and not showing my work are huge mistakes. The fact that I took the retake shows that I've learned to take responsibility for my actions and that a mistake doesn't have to be the end of the world.
Leadership Group: I contributed to the TV project by making an intro and working on slides. This proves that I don't have to do everything to be a valuable part of a team. The lesson is that every contribution matters, no matter how small.
Drama and Your Molar: The pain in my tooth forced me to leave drama practice early to go to the doctor. This experience taught me a valuable lesson: your physical well-being comes first, and it's important to listen to your body when it tells you something is wrong.
Ohana Fair: Despite the frustrating moments of the week, the Ohana Fair saved it. I had a great time with my friends, proving that making time for fun and connection is a powerful way to deal with stress and reset after a challenging week.
