WB 1-4 ๐Ÿธ : SUN SUN GO AWAY

This week has been exhausting, yet still fun at the same time. This week, me and my leadership period had to work TV, and after school sales. After school sales weren't so bad, it was just the fact that we had to miss the last few minutes class made me nervous about being excused early, and working TV was fun since the members I worked with were fun to hang out with, and it was nice listening to the music that was playing in the morning while we did what we had to do to get the day started. The jobs I had for TV were making intros, and going through slides. These two jobs were easy to do, so I didn't have a hard time doing them since they were easy to understand. The periods this week were nice because I didn't have much homework to do, and finishing the assignments given was easy. The periods that I liked the most this week was Art because Ms. Coury has an attitude that lightens up my mood, and the assignments are the easiest. Drama club also had it's first meeting on Thursday, and I got to meet new people. We started to think about what we wanted to do for the year, and if we wanted to do a musical.

Highlights + Lowlights

Highlights

  • Working TV - One of the highlights of my week was working TV because the people I worked with all had great personalities, and it was nice listening to the music that was playing in the morning. The jobs I had were easy to do, and overall I had a great time there.
  • Drama Club Meeting Afterschool - Another highlight of my week was going to Drama Club afterschool because I got to meet new people, and we did fun activities like; ‘Zig-Zag’, and ‘What Are You Doing?’
  • Study Hall - A third highlight of my week was going to Study Hall. It was quiet and peaceful, so it was the perfect place to go to and finish any work you needed to finish any, and it helped relax me.

Lowlights

  • This one girl after Flag Football - A lowlight in my week was the eighth grader I met when walking to homeroom after Flag Football. It was a bad day for me since it was hot and I was stressed about classes, but it got worse. She and this other girl were talking to a security guard and one of them got in my way when I was walking— which she apologized but her friend told me to ‘watch my eyes’. This made me even more mad, and I went home grouchy.
  • Flag Football - Another lowlight this week was working Flag Football. This week was hot, which made everyone sweaty and dread being outside— and there was times where people were not behaving. Keeping track of people’s behavior was hard since it was loud, and the game was interesting to watch.
  • Science class on Wednesday - Science class on Wednesday was very, very annoying because it was when we were making slime, and everyone was rowdy and disturbing the teacher. I got irritated since nobody listened to when the teacher spoke, and we were slow at getting through our assignments.
Lessons Learned
  1. It's okay to have bad days, just don't mind them and instead focus on the little good times in those bad days - Bad days lead to growth. Bad days may seem to suck once you experience them at first, but you will soon grow to ignore those days and instead-- focus on the good times.
  2. Being with others and being calm helps you get through the day -  If you are having a bad day, doing things that make you calm or being with people who makes you feel good will help improve your day and make you feel better again.
  3. Trying new things and meeting new people are fun - Once you get out of your comfort zone and doing new things and meeting new people, you'll start to learn how fun it is to learn something new, and get to know different people and different personalities.
  4. Sometimes, you just need somewhere you can go to that will help you calm down - It is important to have places to go to so that you can calm yourself down because it will help reduce any negative feeling or emotion like stress, or depression.
  5. It is good to ignore those who make you not the best you - If someone makes you feel uncomfortable or angry or any emotion that makes you feel negative, do not engage with them further. Instead, ignore them so that they don't get to your head, and you'll go on about your day just fine.
  6. Always be prepared for things that might come up - It is important to be ready for certain occasions because you never know how it is going to be-- especially if it's your first time doing something. This will help prevent any problems, and make everything go smoothly.
  7. Don't be disruptive, and be mindful of others - Be mindful of others because, let's be honest, you don't want to be that person who disrupts someone elses day, and make their day worse. Be mindful of what other's may feel so that you're not a problem to them or anyone else.
