WB 2-2☀️: Family night yay

WB 2-2☀️: Family night yay Summary   This week was fun and one of the best weeks I've had. I was pretty nervous about working on the NHD (National History Day) project because of having to do so much research, reading, and conversations about what's best for me and my group's topic-- but it didn't go as bad as I thought it would. We finished the 'reaction' portion way faster than the revolution aspect, so that boosted my confidence and made me gain some sanity I had left after the 'revolution' part. Science and ELA is easy too, though my last group in science were a bit slow and kept copying off my answers again (seriously, how hard is it to use your brain to just think?). In math, we're learning about adding and subtracting integers, which is very, very easy, but somehow there's one student who I unfortunately sit by that keeps asking 'how do I solve this' or 'what's the answer to blah blah blah?' which annoys me. Luckily, a...

WB 2-1🙈: First week back and I already want it to end

WB 2-1🙈: First week back and I already want it to end Summary  First week after fall break and I’m already tired. We got our GT’s this week, and I love them all. My GT is named Megan, and I see her as my child (she calls me mom), and she’s good at following directions. Another thing this week was that my group and I worked TV, so we have male intros, set up, turn things on, and be quiet while the broadcasters do their thing. This whole week in ELA, we have been watching a movie called “Interstellar”, which is probably one of my favorite movies I’ve seen (aside from Top Gun Maverick of course) because it almost made me cry, and I enjoyed the plot. We didn’t do much in any other subject, but another major thing is that in Social Studies, we are doing NHD (National History Day) and my group is doing Annexation of 1898 - Overthrow of the Monarchy. My team and I were planning to do a performance, but one out of the three of us doesn’t want to so we have to convince him to do it t...

Retreat Blog

Retreat Blog Summary  Retreat was fun and exciting, and also tiring and funny. On day one before we arrived at the house, we gathered up by the bus stop and waited for a while. Some of us forgot some stuff, but in the end we made it work. I was pretty tired since I couldn't sleep all night and was thinking about everything that could go wrong. I really didn't pack a lot, but my suitcase was big (also was heavy lol). Before getting on the bus, we gave our phones to Ms. Shayna and then boarded the bus. I knew I was going to miss my family and my partner, but it was only for three days so it couldn't be any worse. The ride was okay aside from some people keeping their windows open and letting rain projectile onto me and other students, to which some got into my eye and made my seat wet. After the ride, we quickly got off and took out all the bags, suitcases, and whatever we brought with us. The three days we were there went by pretty fast in my opinion, aside from all of the ...

QT1 Blog🐵

QT1 Blog🐵 Summary Quarter one is officially over, and it felt like it went by pretty fast. First couple of weeks of school were okay since I didn't have as much assignments as I did as of now, and I was still learning a lot of things. For example; writing repeating decimals as fractions, square and cube roots, elements of art, endothermic and exothermic, Captain Cook's arrival, Case of the disappearing words, and responsibility. I am still learning things of course, but I feel like I haven't learned anything at all. Mostly because of my Alzheimer's. Anyways, the other weeks of school weren't bad either, but my classmates made things worse. They're so, so so loud and obnoxious that it generally drives me insane, and I have trouble focusing in class because of them. Good thing that they didn't affect my grade THAT much. The class that I enjoy the most currently is still art class, since I love making art, and nobody bothers me when I lock in (unless I don...
